Biography:

Sarah Torres is an artist, illustrator and carpenter based in the San Francisco. She is a recent graduate from the California College of The Arts, and obtains a Bachelor's Art Degree in Illustration.
Half Colombian and Half Honduran Sarah's ethnicity engages her into creating works that are diverse and multicultural.
From a young age her work has been featured twice in the De Young Museum. Once as a solo exhibit, as well as a class collaboration in 2012. Since then her work has been expanding through community arts, and Local businesses. She is currently making art using a Pyrography Technique on live wood slabs.
The Majority of Sarah’s work is highly inspired by her community, the places she travels to and the people of the Bay Area. Experience, abstraction, and culture are only a few things that inspire her to make art.
